Posting after Hajj and the ten days
It is not wise and not in the interest of one’s own good for a Muslim to limit his efforts to a particular time of the year, or to exert himself during a particular season, or to be deceived by performing a noble act of worship such as fasting, Hajj, or slaughtering the sacrificial animal, and then to then give himself free rein to graze in his worldly life like an animal. Now then, { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous .} O Muslims, the believer in this world was created to worship his Lord – the Most High and Most Great. He – Glory be to Him – said: { And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me .} The passage of virtuous times for the servant, and the succession of seasons of goodness for him annually, such as Ramadan and the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, are only opportunities to stock up on righteous deeds and increase the multiplication of good deeds. Otherwise, there is a gap between The servant’s hands, during the day and night, as long as he is alive, are full of great opportunities and noble times. Allah has made for him in them noble acts of worship and blessed deeds, some of which are obligatory and obligatory, and some of which are recommended and recommended. He has the choice between investing in them and filling each time with what suits him, so that he may profit thereby and attain a great victory, or neglecting them and being careless. He is preoccupied with his desires and follows his own desires, and as a result he either perishes or suffers a clear loss. Hence, it is not wise and not in the interest of one’s own good for a Muslim to limit his efforts to a particular time of the year, or to exert himself during a particular season, or to be deceived by performing a noble act of worship such as fasting, Hajj, or slaughtering sacrificial animals, and then to then give himself free rein to graze in his worldly life like an animal. Yes, brothers, there are matters that the believer must keep before his eyes as he walks on his path to his Lord. The first of them is that he is a servant of God at all times, places, and conditions. He must continue to worship his Lord and persevere in obeying Him, and not sever his connection with Him as long as he lives. God Almighty says: { There is none in the heavens and earth but comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.} He has counted them and numbered them precisely. And all of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone . And He, the Most High, said: { And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty .} The second thing that a Muslim must pay attention to is ensuring that his deeds are righteous and acceptable. A deed can only be so if it is done sincerely for the sake of Allah, the Almighty, and in accordance with the Sunnah of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He, the Most High, said: { So whoever should hope for the meeting with his Lord – let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone .} Allah the Almighty said: { Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example to follow for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah much. } And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “ All of my nation will enter Paradise except those who refuse .” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, and who would refuse?” He said: “ Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me has refused. ” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari) Among the important matters that a Muslim cannot do without for his salvation on the Day of Judgment are the five prescribed prayers. They are the pillar of the religion and the first thing for which the servants will be held accountable before the Lord of the Worlds. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “ The head of the matter is Islam, its pillar is prayer, and its pinnacle is jihad .” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and authenticated by al-Albani) Allah, the Most High, and His Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, have commanded us to preserve them. He, the Most High, the Most Great, said: {Guard strictly the prayers, especially the middle prayer, and stand before God , devoutly obedient .} And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Five prayers have been prescribed by God for His servants. Whoever performs them and does not neglect any of them out of disdain for their right, God has promised him that He will admit him into Paradise. Whoever does not perform them, God will make a covenant with him that He will admit him into Paradise.” He has no covenant with God. If He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will admit him into Paradise. ” Narrated by Malik, Abu Dawud, and al-Nasa’i. Al-Albani said: It is authentic according to others . Among the things that make it appropriate for the believer to pay attention to in his blessed journey to his Lord is to persevere in righteous deeds and beware of distraction, regression, and slackness. Indeed, the constant righteous deeds, even if they are few, are loved by Allah, and He raises its doer in degrees and multiplies his good deeds because of them. He, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “ Strive to do your deeds straight and strive to be close to Allah, and know that none of you will enter Paradise because of his deeds.” “The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are few. ” Narrated by Al-Bukhari. Let us consider, for example, the reward for maintaining congregational prayer, arriving early for Friday prayer, performing the Sunnah prayers, repeating some of the supplications, and reciting the Qur’an every day. These are actions, some of which only take a few minutes before or after the prayer, yet the Muslim attains great virtue and abundant reward through them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “ Congregational prayer… ” “It is twenty-seven times better than the prayer of an individual .” (Agreed upon) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “ Shall I not guide you to that by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks ?” They said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “ Performing ablution perfectly even when it is difficult, taking many steps to the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after the next one. That is ribat .” (Narrated by Muslim) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “ Whoever performs ghusl on Friday, bathes, arrives early, walks and does not ride, and approaches the imam, listens, and does not engage in idle talk, will receive for every step the reward of a year’s fasting and standing in prayer. ” (Narrated by Ahmad and others, and authenticated by Al-Albani) He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “ Whoever prays the ‘Isha’ prayer in congregation is as if he prayed half the night, and whoever prays the Fajr prayer in congregation is as if he prayed the entire night ” (Narrated by Muslim). He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “ There is no Muslim servant who prays twelve rak’ahs to God every day as a voluntary prayer, other than the obligatory ones, except that God builds for him a house in Paradise, or except that a house is built for him in Paradise ” (Narrated by Muslim). He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “ Whoever recites a letter from the Book of God will receive a good deed for it, and a good deed is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter. ” (Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani). And he – may God bless him and grant him peace – said: “ Whoever says, ‘There is no god but God alone, with no partner for Him. His is the kingdom and His is the praise, and He has power over all things,’ one hundred times a day, will have the reward of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, one hundred bad deeds will be erased from his record, and it will be a protection for him from Satan that day until evening. No one will come with anything better than what he has come with, except someone who has done more than that.” That is it. ” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim). He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “ Whoever says ‘Glory be to God and praise be to Him’ one hundred times in a day, his sins will be forgiven, even if they were like the foam of the sea. ” (Narrated by Muslim). He said: “ Whoever glorifies God thirty-three times after every prayer, praises God thirty-three times, and magnifies God thirty-three times, that is ninety-nine, and then says to complete the hundred: ‘There is no god but God alone, with no partner. His is the kingdom and His is the praise, and He has power over all things.’ His sins will be forgiven, even if they were like the foam of the sea. ” (Narrated by Muslim) Among the things that must be noted in the believer’s journey to his Lord is that he should be keen that his entire life be in obedience to his Lord and in pleasing Him, even in habits and permissible things. With good intention and the expectation of reward, the believer can transform all of his permissible actions into righteous deeds. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Sa’d: “ You will not spend anything seeking thereby the face of God…” “Unless you are rewarded for it, even the morsel you put in your wife’s mouth. ” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim) One of the things that must be noted is that a person should be keen to have deeds that will continue to be rewarded after death, and whose reward does not cease with the cessation of life, such as ongoing charity. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When a person dies, his deeds cease except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him. ” (Narrated by Muslim) Part of the understanding of righteous deeds that a believer must have is that he should not be impressed by his deeds, nor be deceived by what he has presented. Rather, he should remain fearful of things that nullify deeds and diminish reward, such as showing off, the love of reputation, violating God’s sacred limits in private, and transgressing the rights of others. The Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said: “ Do you know who the bankrupt person is?” They said: The bankrupt among us is the one who has no dirham or property. He said: The bankrupt among my nation is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and zakat, but he comes having insulted this one, slandered that one, consumed the wealth of this one, shed the blood of this one, and struck that one. So this one will be given some of his good deeds, and that one will be given some of his good deeds. If his good deeds are exhausted before what is owed to him is paid, some of their sins will be taken and thrown away. On him, then he was thrown into the fire .” (Narrated by Muslim) So let us fear Allah, O Muslims, as much as we are able, and let us provide ourselves with that which brings us closer to Allah, for our Lord, glory be to Him, said at the end of Surat Al-Hajj: “O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful. And strive in Allah’s cause with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [This is] the religion of your father, Abraham. He has named you Muslims.” Before and in this, so that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector, and excellent is the Protector, and excellent is the Helper. The second sermon : Now then, fear God Almighty and obey Him and do not disobey Him. Thank Him and do not deny Him. Repent to Him and seek His forgiveness. Let us be extremely careful not to waste our lives by being occupied with this world and turning away from the Hereafter, following the example of the wasteful and the negligent, or being deceived by wealth and well-being. Our Lord, Blessed and Exalted be He, has said: “ And do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance.” And he followed his desires, and his affair was in excess . Our Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Hasten to do good deeds before there are trials like pieces of a dark night. A man may go to bed a believer and wake up a disbeliever, or he may go to bed a believer and wake up a disbeliever, selling his religion for worldly gain. ” (Narrated by Muslim) He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “ Hasten to do good deeds before six things happen: the rising of the sun from the west, the smoke, the Antichrist, the beast, the private life of one of you, or a general matter .” (Narrated by Muslim) It is from Allah’s grace for the believer that he hastens to prepare for his afterlife as long as he is healthy. For he will either be afflicted with general, distracting trials, or else he will be afflicted with what occupies him from his own self, such as illness, old age, the obstacles and concerns of life, and then death, which will stand between him and his deeds. He will then wish to return to this world so that he may be able to do righteous deeds that he had always turned away from. The worldly life and he forgot it, but it is impossible, impossible. He – the Most High – said: { Until, when death comes to one of them, he says, “My Lord, send me back.” Perhaps I may do righteousness with that which I left behind. No! It is only a word he will say, and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. And He, the Most High, said: { And spend from what We have provided for you before death approaches one of you and he says, “My Lord, if only You would delay me for a short term so I could give charity and be among the righteous.” But Allah will not delay a soul when its term has come. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do .
